Give back through education 

Only 1 in 5 people in India in the 18-23 age group enroll into colleges or universities. This big drop in the enrollment rate is attributed to the high cost of college education. With government aid being almost non-existent and traditional bank loans not accessible, poor students are left with few options to fund their education.

Culvee is a crowdfunded scholarship program that raises money for college education. By bringing verified students directly to the donors, Culvee is able to connect citizen philanthropists to contribute and invest in the future of these bright students. Culvee evaluates and selects students not just based on academic achievements and financial backgrounds but also on their desire and drive to succeed. 

Culvee is also a way for those of us who have had a privileged and sheltered upbringing to give back to the society in a meaningful way.
